ISSUES IN INDIAN ADMINISTRATION - 2023
INTRODUCTION
This course is offered as a core paper for Second Semester Students of M A Political Science and Public Administration. The course analyses the changing trends of the Indian Administration from the liberal phase to the neo-liberal phase. It also discusses unequal federal relations, the role and functions of rural local democratic decentralized institutions at the grassroots level and the major issues in Indian Administration. After completing the course, the students will be able to acquire knowledge of the evolution, nature and structure of the Indian Administration and major issues confronting the Indian Administration in the contemporary period.

The course aims to develop an understanding on the origin and development of Public Administration as a subject of study.

The course analyses the evolution, scope and significance of studying International Political Economy (IPE), and its theories. It enables the student to develop a critical perspective on the major issues in international political economic order and make them explore the ways to address the issues confronted by the major economies of the world / international economic order from an IPE perspective.
