Course for M.Phil programme

The course will impart the different perspectives on curriculum, pedagogy and assessment in Elementary education

The course empower the students with modern technological developments in education.

The course helps to expose the students to the knowledge base and emerging nature of educational theories and to make linkages beween the theoretical understanding and practices or field experiences.

Advanced Language Education(English), helps the students to get acquainted with the principles and practice of teaching English to secondary school students and adult learners.  Increase their knowledge and awareness of English language teaching and methodology.

Familiarise with the importance and use of first, second language, and multi-language system and significance on culture in developing language skills.

Enable the students to get an idea of the use of digital resources and digital technology and cyber-laws. Students develop the ability to explore modern assessment practices that are in vogue in the field of language teaching

COURSE SUMMARY

To design and practice instructional strategies and techniques in science education based upon modem innovative approaches and practices .

The course include the department specific elective course for M.Ed programme.

Helps the learner to elucidate various strategies and theories in elementary education and enable them to get an understanding of developmental process of children, their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development. Also to develop in depth knowledge on the assessment and evaluation strategies adopted at elementary level.

This course helps to recognize and conceptualize the advance theories of learning, and plan and design classroom practices. Also helps to acquire competencies and skills in assessing individual factors and capabilities – intelligence, personality and aptitude- and design and apply of psychological tools and techniques.

The course equip the students to carry out meaningful research in various areas of education thereby contributing to the development of the discipline and find tangible solution to the problems.
