Computational Biology and Bioinformatics

This course gives a bird’s eye view of life sciences and to introduce basics of Bioinformatics and  helps to introduce the nature and scope of life sciences, give an overview about basic molecular Biology concept  and understand the basic Bioinformatics and algorithms used in Computational Biology.

This course aims to expose students to the fundamental concepts of modern molecular biology

The students are introduced to the concepts about signals and signal operation and fundamentals of genomic signal processing. 

The course covers Mathematical concepts and skills relevant to Computational Biology and Bioinformatics
